Background Information:
The total Sport Premium Funding received at Christ Church for the academic year 2019/20 was paid in two instalments; one of £8,296 and another of £11,614 making a total of £19,910. This funding is ring fenced and therefore can only be spent on PE and sport provision in schools. This funding stream is guaranteed until 2020.
How we have spent our funding:
With the continued provision and increase in sport funding we have been able to invest in a number of areas which as a result have greatly improved the quality of teaching within PE lessons, swimming and greater opportunities for children to fully participate in extracurricular sport. The school has been able to sustain stronger links with outside sports agencies, providing children with the opportunity to progress in sport to a higher level.
